Job Description & Primary Purpose:

Our client is looking for a Bank Operations Specialist contractor to join their organization at a specific branch location in Portland Oregon.  This role is onsite and has the possibility of converting to full time employee.

Responsibilities:

Provides daily assistance via phone and email, includes diversified operational support to all bank employees. Duties include, but are not limited to: teller, wire transfers, stop payments and various other banking services for clients. Administers functions related to new and existing banking relationships such as; open business and consumer accounts as applicable, signature card and business documentation review. Assess and mitigate risk to include, but not limited to, potential losses and fraud. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Teller (Bank Teller)
  • Knowledge of banking deposit, treasury management and loan products preferred
  • Proficient use of computer
  • Able to work with various software applications related to the job

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with General Ledger balancing, certifications and other operational tasks
