Our client’s IT department has an immediate opening for a highly experienced Java developer to join our team as a Senior Applications Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications
• Architect clear solutions from complex requirements and specifications
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and performance of applications
• Identify and correct bugs and performance bottlenecks
• Promote code quality, organization, and automation
• Mentor and coach junior developers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Expert level knowledge in Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Java 17
• Experience with both imperative and functional programming
• Proficient in software design patterns and architecture
• Strong understanding of SQL and database architecture
• PostgreSQL, SQL Server
• Superb written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer-service skills for both internal and external customers

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Bamboo)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
