Job Description Bank Tellers performs activities associated with the maintenance control and security of vault cash
Duties and responsibilities:
- Fulfilling change order requests
- Processing deposits for commercial customers and/or banking centers
- Maintaing accurate records of financial transactions
- Overseeing courier acceptance and shipments
- Maintain records of cash received and disbursed. Prepares orders for cash from bank and verifies cash received via couriers
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining appropriate security and control of cash and other negotiables
- Responsible for accurate record keeping for all cash handling an dvault risk related activities
- Prepare vault cash balances and reports of overage and shortages
- Responsible for recordkeeping and possible daily teller interactions related to safekeeping items, checks, and other misc. assets as required
- Other duties as assigned
