Job Description & Primary Purpose

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with strong technical knowledge and heavy industry experience – preferably mining. This PM will work with infrastructure engineering teams to implement infrastructure solutions on new minor projects as well as some maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage their own project plan: create Scope, Budget and Schedule
• Maintain project plan and timeline
• Use technical knowledge and expertise to ensure success
• Work onsite 3-4 days at mine location
• Manage IT Infrastructure engineering team on projects
• Successfully utilize waterfall methodology
• Focus on safety and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Strong Technical Infrastructure Technical Experience
• 3+ Years of Mining or Heavy Industry Experience
• Strong Project Management: Creating and Managing Scope, Budget, Timeline
• Willing to wear PPE on Mine Site
• Demonstrated Risk and HSE acumen in projects
• PMP Certified or formal education in Project Management
• Willing to be onsite for 3-4 days per week
